The sweet 16 the year Kansas lost to vcu was 1 seed Kansas, 12 Richmond, 11 vcu, and 10 florida state

There is still a chance that this could be worse (basically, if Ohio State goes down, it will be 6,9,10, and 12/13). And it was just an awful region from the start. 1,3,4,5,7, and 8 down (all but 1 out in round one).
