Is it the best among all of the major sports?

My only complaint is that they're too drawn out. Maybe make the first round best 3/5 and make the SCFs a 2-3-2 format so that we don't have as many 3 day travel breaks between games.

IMO it's the most difficult championship to win amongst the major American sports.

Hockey is a brutally physical game played at break neck speeds. They are truly underrated and under appreciated for their athleticism.

Ovi paid for that cup with literal blood, sweat and tears. Couldn't be happier for him

How do you feel about the NBA Playoffs, especially the format for the finals?

Yes, because 8 seeds (or really 16th best team) has won it all in the past. What is the point (NBA) in having teams that have no chance in the playoffs.

It is a little drawn out but it seems like almost every series is entertaining in some aspect. I think the NBA finals are dreadful because of the first round matchups and the fact the Eastern conference is not very good. I don't like a drawn out playoffs but if it is competitive and entertaining...then I can live with it.

Exactly. I think it is the only major sport where an 8th seed or wildcard has basically no chance to win. NHL, NFL, and MLB is hands down better than the NBA

NHL

April 11–June 7, 2018

NBA

April 14 – June 17, 2018

Fairly similar and the NBA can possibly end tonight making them shorter.

Both are long. No doubt about that.

Honestly, the NBA could disappear tomorrow and I'd barely notice.

Even if the Pelicans are playing, I'll watch a few plays early then my interest wanes. I find myself checking back later around the 5 minutes left mark. If it's a tight game then, I'll watch. Otherwise, no care.

It's not just an NBA thing, though. I'm just that way about basketball, even LSU games. I don't even have nearly as much interest in March Madness as I once had. Everyone has their favorites...basketball just isn't one of mine.

that's a feature, not a bug... You want your months-long regular seasons to mean SOMEthing
