Why did we go to Warren there? That was questionable as far as who you're going to replace Greene with

Warren was an odd choice, also Lopez could’ve ended the inning with a double play and couldn’t do it.

9 Ks for Hunter today, still pretty awesome.

I decided to fade the Reds all season long after they went fire-sale after the CBA got signed. Pretty good money so far! I'm cool with a no-hit winner.

Been a Reds fan for 44 years. This is not a surprise.

According to MLB.com, this only happened 5 other times previous to today.

The last time that it happened in a National League game was 1964

American League
Pitchers Date Result
Jered Weaver and Jose Arredondo* 06-28-2008 Angels vs. Dodgers, 0-1 MLB.com coverage >
Matt Young* 04-12-1992 Red Sox vs. Indians, 1-2
Andy Hawkins* 07-01-1990 Yankees vs. White Sox, 0-4
Steve Barber and Stu Miller 04-30-1967 Orioles vs. Tigers, 1-2
National League
Pitcher Date Result
Ken Johnson 04-23-1964 Colt .45s vs. Reds, 0-1
*=Pitched eight innings, not an official no-hitter.

I remember the Hawkins one back in the day.

Worst fricking Yankees team in my lifetime. Hard to believe they won a title about 6 years after that because they were so putrid.

So we were involved with the two National League ones. I guess that's a fun fact.

Imagine being harvey haddix and throwing 12 perfect innings only to lose in the 13.

It won’t be called a no hitter will it? I thought BWAA made a rule about 15 years ago. I recall the Yankees White Sox game had this happen. Or is it has to be full 9 innings? Because a visiting team can lose 1-0 on a no hitter etc

Dude. I spent a lot of years rooting for a hapless Houston organization before the current run. Success is fleeting. Don’t be that guy

Houston spent a lot of time looking up at us in the standings in the NL West and NL Central before yall left.

The Reds are the only team to have beaten the Astros more than 400 times.
