So is "talent" the eye test for golf now? A subjective opinion used to justify an opinion that is objectively incorrect.

What is talent 550 out?

Holes 560 yards?

Are there any over 500 in pga course this year?

Maybe a piece of the game yes but this is golf. The entire skill set is what matters here and no none of those 3 guys are a more talented golfer.

lol ... the ability to jump higher or lift more weights does not equate to 'more talent' in golf ... neither does swing speed ... good grief ... a 3 yo could understand this ... rory wasn't always jacked ... spieth is a much better iron player than dj/rory even when dj/rory are at their best ... spieth is a better chipper ... and spieth is a much better putter from 15-30 ft than those two when everyone is at their best ... those are all the results of TALENT ...

How do those 3 guys have more talent than Jordan from 120 out?

Because I figured they had more talent everywhere they're standing on planet earth.

Marcus Bupree had more talent than Mark Ingram does. That goes for at their own 2 yard like and at the opponents 2 yard line.

Let me ask y'all this.

Who has/had more talent? Robert Streb or Tiger Woods?

Spieth doesn't have more talent than them in other areas. His amazing putting year has in turn made his putting overrated af. They have more talent from 550 out and from 120 out.

Spieth is #1 in strokes gained approach. He's #9 in strokes gained from 175-200.

The people ahead are Brooks Koepka
2 2 Robert Garrigus
3 3 Jon Rahm
4 4 Brendan Steele
T5 T5 Bryson DeChambeau
T5 T5 Hideki Matsuyama
7 7 Paul Casey
8 8 Kyle Stanley

I know the stats, man. That's not my point. Why is everyone acting like stats = talent?

bc in golf stats are all there is to look at to compare. Someone that is the best overall player wins a lot of tournaments.

Why are you acting like swing speed = talent? Or is it more about swing tempo and path for you? You have yet to explain what = talent in your mind.
