This is only his third year in the league and already looks like vintage Tom Brady. It really is incredible how he developed into an elite Pro QB almost instantly

It makes you wonder how Urban Meyer didn’t see anything when Joe was at Ohio State.

Slow down now.

He's Joe Burrow. What is that? A confident winner.

In Urbans defense jt Barrett was really good before his injuries (and Joe was an underclassman) and Dwayne Haskins was a first round draft pick.

It’s not like he wasn’t playing big time guys

Nearly every college coach out there is enthralled with guys who can run away when shite goes to hell. It covers up so many team shortcomings.

He needs to win a Superbowl first before people crown him master of the universe. Is he elite amongst the QBs playing today? Yes. Is he able to win a Superbowl? Yes, but things don't always work out the way you think they will. Classic example is Marino.

Joe didn’t exactly light it up his first year at LSU

Burrow broke his thumb at Ohio State which gave Haskins the edge but hey, you be you.

Running a three yards and a cloud of dust offense doesn’t help. And the kid played his first game at LSU without even knowing half of his team mates names.

Burrow was actually very solid in 2018. People just forget because the following year was the greatest college offense ever

Only downside of this season is that Zac Taylor will be there for a long long time if they beat the Chiefs. Two consecutive Super Bowl appearances, tied to a young QB. Taylor isn’t going anywhere. It appears he’s learned his lesson and let Joe command the offense, but he’s still a pussy in the most critical moments

And it’s all a comparison too. Joe wasn’t elite compared to other college QBs in spread offenses running wide open, but he was already one of the best LSU QBs ever after 1 season

Urban was a shite coach at that point. He built his career up running a revolutionary offense, then never changed the offense again and just hoped to win on sheer talent differential. And he was so stuck in his ways that he needed a rushing QB

Plus like another poster said, Haskins and JT Barrett were really good

He curb stomped a #2 Georgia team that was a 7.5 point favorite.

That's one of the major problems with Zac Taylor. It's not that he's a bas HC or OC it's that at times he starts calling overly conservative plays. Joe Burrow then calls out of nearly every play on the LOS lol!

Also lead a fantastic 4th quarter comeback on the road at Auburn. Yeah Auburn wasn’t as good as Georgia but that was still a great performance in a hostile stadium.

Winning the Super Bowl is dependent on a lot more than just Joe Burrow's ability.
