Peyton and Eli Manning’s ESPN2/ESPN+ broadcast of this week’s “Monday Night Football” was a hit with NFL fans. It didn’t take long for college football fans to point out that the brothers’ alma maters face off on Oct. 16. On Wednesday, Lane Kiffin endorsed the idea of the Ole Miss-Tennessee game getting the “Manningcast” treatment.

I don't think this game will get picked up by CBS. I'm also not sure if ESPN has the space for a traditional broadcast and a Manningcast on this day.

But maybe they could get the boys to do a Manningcast on ESPN+ or something.

This would be pure gold. Put them in their jerseys.

And could you imagine if this is a night game... and Duke's game ends up being a day game... bring in David Cutcliffe at some point during the broadcast...

Maybe they can ask him why he started a white dude named rob Roberson at linebacker instead of Patrick Willis

Maybe it'll happen next year.

I think the Mannings agreed to this format because it was a set number of games and neither had to travel. I don't think they want to do more.

I think Cutcliffe gets a little too much credit for the Manning’s. I’m sure he didn’t have much to do with them developing into great QBs.

Gonna be pretty painful seeing Eli shite all over Peyton while Lane runs up the score in Neyland

Good point but they would probably be a lot more open to this scenario since they both have personal interest in their Alma maters. NFL is just a job

With the two of them and Chuck every Tennessee, Ole Miss, and Auburn game becomes interesting. One of those teams getting blown out becomes an opportunity for the other two to pile on.

I would absolutely watch that.

They should have special guests: Cutcliff, Coach O, Monty Kiffin, Freeze, Etc.

Gruden should definitely make an appearance after all the shite they talked about him

I would definitely watch.

I've always wished they had an option whete you could get the national TV feed synchronized with your team's announcers.

But for a game where I'm neutral, I would love to see the regular announcer with one commentator from each team.

Manning brothers for Tennessee-Ole Miss. Tebow and Herschel for The World's Largest Cocktail Party.

Nah, I think Lane would start kneeling in the redzone once the 4th quarter started

Especially if you could convince Spurrier instead of Tebow. You need an entertaining personality doing the commentary and Spurrier would let it fly in an authentic way.

palmer would be good pick from gators side. He has wit, would be funny, and the OL's would have some one to look at, allowing you to watch the game on the living room, big screen.

I want them to do one College and one NFL game per week. That was fun as hell
