I'm just saying I believe they're still the best in the league this year.
Even better than SAS? I mean even if Curry's VORP of +6 is taken down to +4, that would be 7 games (not including OT games they won by more than 3) that they won by less than that difference.

Those that think its even a question that MJ isn't better than Lebron are simply the younger bucks on here that didn't see MJ play.

It's really not close. MJ wanted to win so much more and there's a reason he never lost a finals.

Watch the dream team documentary and even guys like Magic and Bird understood how much better MJ was compared to everyone else, including themselves.

Because he was great and his teammates were also great?

And again, when he lost before the finals, did he want it less? I doubt that.

The desire to win thing is obviously bullshite....but while the LBJ vs MJ argument was fun three years ago, right now there really isn't one. LBJ will easily finish at a top 5 player in history, though.

No one has to have seen either of them play. Just simply log on to ESPN.com and look at the stats. It's not a question because the statistics clearly indicate that MJ is better than Lebron, the same way those stats say that Lebron is better than Kobe.

Competitiveness and clutch gene and all of that nonsense doesn't matter.

I agree that LeBron is more of an MVP than Steph. I also think Draymond is more valuable to the Warriors success than Steph is. No, he doesn't score as many points or shoot all the 3s but take him away from that team and I don't think they're anywhere close to the record they finished with. I feel there are 3 or 4 players that deserved "MVP" over Curry. Now best player in the league this year? Or best scorer? That's a different story. Steph would be on top. The player that wins MVP should be a guy who makes his team very good by playing or very bad by not playing.

And there will still be people who hate him and cannot appreciate the level of play he's brought to the table in his career. Of all the players in the Top 10, he'll be the one that people were alive to watch yet couldn't appreciate in the slightest. I pity those people.

Maybe. But most valuable to his team? No

And all of that time spent despising him isn't going to change a damn thing. He's still going to do what he does so might as well enjoy it while it lasts.

When their grandkids ask what it was like to watch Lebron, those people are going to look really foolish when all they can say is "man, that guy was a bitch."

People say that all time, and I just think it's so dumb. It doesn't take away from how incredible Lebron is, but Steph had one of the best seasons in the history of the NBA. His spacing is essential to the offense, he's a very good passer, a great scorer, and the best shooter in the history of the game.

Fwiw, the Warriors are 1-3 on the road without him, and 35-7 with him

When he returned he also had Kyrie and Love... 2 all stars to fall back on because Lebron tries to buy into championships
