The Eagles drafted Arcega-Whiteside over DK Metcalf, and Reagor over Justin Jefferson

It was in that same draft that Eagles GM Howie Roseman made a hideous error (one that is shared by a number of other general managers), selecting Stanford’s J.J. Arcega-Whiteside with the 57th overall selection. With the 64th pick, the Seahawks gleefully selected Metcalf.
In the year-and-a-half since that fateful draft, the two wideouts have seen their careers go in entirely different directions. Arcega-Whiteside has puttered out of the gate, while Metcalf has quickly ascended to the league’s elite at his position.

JJ Arcega-Whiteside, the 57th pick in 2019, in 24 career games: 12 catches, 214 yards, 1 TD
DK Metcalf, the 64th pick in 2019, in 3 career games vs the Eagles: 20 catches, 372 yards, 1 TD

Yes, Wentz has regressed, but the Eagles haven't done themselves any favors with their WR picks. Whiteside looks like a bust. Reagor is just a rookie, but it's gotta kill Eagles fans knowing they took him one pick before Justin Jefferson, the likely offensive rookie of the year.

I’d take all those dudes over Kneal at this point

The offensive rookie of the year will be named Justin just not Jefferson

I agree, i'm as much of a homer as the next fan, but when Burrow went down, it was Herbert's to lose.

Hot Take: Deebo Samuel is just as good as DK and better than Mcclarin and Brown

the jury is still out on Jefferson vs Reagor
check back in at least one year when Reagor has a full season. he is probably as talented if not more so than Jefferson, but hasn't been afforded the luxury of dalvin cook, adam thielen, and kyle rudolph to draw attention

He’s right, Deebo just can’t stay healthy. He’s better than pretty much every receiver from the last two draft classes, save for DKM of course.

Almost as bad as the Packers selecting Jordan Love over Tee Higgins. Or AJ Dillion’s fat arse over Antonio Gibson.

I'd take the other Ole Miss guy over Deebo as well. AJ Brown is a fricking stud.
ETA:
Deebo is a beast though. Wish he'd stay healthy.
I also like Justin Jefferson, Lamb, and Jeudy from those classes to be up there.

I know it's fun to dogpile on the Eagles right now but a lot of teams passed on these guys. Bill Belichick doesn't even draft WRs and it shows a lot at times, he could certainly use one of them about now. Especially with how stacked at WR this last draft class was and how desperately they need one.
Not to say the Eagles FO doesn't deserve that smoke but this isn't something that's unique to them

And when he does, he picks NKeal Harry in the 1st round

That’s a long term judgement. The packers didn’t draft Love thinking he would play this year.
Jefferson Reagor is an apples to apples
Comparison.

Better than Ruggs but that’s not hard to do. Better than Hollywood and and Harry isn’t hard either.
Better than Jefferson, Brown, Lamb, Higgins, Scary Terry? GTFO.
Jeudy? Who even knows. Denver is trash incarnate.

Metcalf has a drop problem that no one seems to talk about. Of receivers with 100 targets since the beginning of last year, only 5 are worse than him. 9% drop rate

Never saw a team not make mistakes in draft

Jefferson is 8th amongst all WRs for yards/g
Jefferson is 3rd amongst all Wrs for yards/rec
He is one of the best WRs in football, period
Herbert is having a fantastic Rookie season, but its a fantastic season because he is a rookie. Jefferson is having a fantastic season for any player

They’re 8-3 with a top 5 offense.

No one was taking Gibson over Dillon. I was big on Gibson and still am, but he had off the field issues and limit production so he was going to fall.
