Roster is solid but needs a few upgrades. Probably get our hands on Pache, Waters and Anderson mid-summer but we are going to need to trade for another middle of the order bat at some point imo.

I’m excited. Should win the division again. Just don’t see how anyone is going to beat the Dodgers in the NL though.

We need a legit 1B to Soroka's 1A in the rotation before anything else.

Need to see what we get from Fried, Folty and the kids. I think Fried could be a legit 1B and I think Folty and Anderson/Wright have a lot of potential too.
Hopefully Hamels can be a playoff rotation caliber starter, too.

I think they spotlight Ender early in the hopes of increasing his trade value and moving to an outfield of Ozuna, Acuna, Markakis/Duvall while waiting on Pache/Waters.
I’m hoping Riley develops to adjust to the league’s adjustment to him. Hope he’s not another Frenchy who comes up on fire, the league adjusts and he can’t take the next step. That could give us some added pop even if he only splits time with Camargo.

The lineup should be very good. Still questions about the rotation though. Can Hamels stay healthy? Can Folty finally get over being such a headcase because he has the stuff? Can Newcomb not throw 90 pitches in 3 innings?

You don’t have to. They’ll beat themselves somehow.

The Astros gave us the blueprint....
In all seriousness, use that fricking big arse drum in centerfield to relay signs to the batter. Seems like a no brainer

The only way this doesn't happen is if Arizona throws MadBum on Opening Day, and he's not an Opening Day level starter anymore.

I'm with you. I think they let Markakis and Duvall platoon in right over giving Inciarte at bats.

Gabe Burns @GabeBurnsAJC On Rob Manfred: "I think the commissioner completely handled it the wrong way — but that’s the way he did it. And that’s the way we’ve got to live with it. But I know a lot of people disagree with him and the way he handled the situation he should be embarrassed with himself."
