Do ya'll remember that one time that Greene pitched in a 4 run game and Minter in a 6 run game while a guy made his first MLB appearance in a 1 run game and a position player pitched in a 3 run game?
Good times. Good times.
Good times. Good times.

Had to guarantee that game one victory duh. Secure the split.

Going to cry then laugh if it comes down to the final day between us and the Phillies because of that stupidity last night.

The fact that Duvall or Ozzie will be batting 9th when this lineup is at full strength is just ridiculous.

By the way, check out Ronald Acuña stat line in his 6 doubleheader games this year (39 innings)
10-20, 10 RBI, 9 R, 7 HR, 2.056 OPS
7 of his 8 HRs this year are in doubleheaders

Max doesn't have it tonight. Fastball location is off.

Which is fine, the best pitchers have these nights.
The problem is that literally every other good team has more than two starting pitchers that can bail out an off-night from your ace.

We can probably survive him giving up 2-4 runs. Hopefully he’ll settle down.

Acuña now has the franchise record for lead off homers

I don't know what else to say about Acuna at this point. He is amazing.

Think how much better he'd be if he cut his hair and stopped wearing chains.

Who was the dude who said that? I can’t remember.

No idea, it was in one of the early season game threads and is still the stupidest thing I've ever read on here.

Just looked it up. It’s perrydawg. I guess we bullied him out of the threads

Chip just said "Weird first inning for both starting pitchers, but we start anew with the Braves down by one run."
That makes no sense, you wouldn't be trailing if you "start anew"

Max's curveball doesn't have it's usual break to it.
ETA: Pick-off move is still deadly though.
