End it this weekend then you can set up the playoff rotation.

lsu31 is at the game so we know who to blame if we lose

What’s our guess for how we set this thing up next week if we clinch? Something like this?
Tue: Newk
Wed: Gausman (60 pitches or so)/Fried piggyback
Thu: Julio
Fri: Folty (60 pitches)/Wright piggyback
Sat: Touki
Sun: Sanchez (60 pitches)/Gausman (short 1 inning side session)/Wilson piggyback
G1 is the following Thursday, G2 Friday, G3 Sunday, G4 Monday and G5 Wednesday fwiw. Folty and Gausman seem to be locked in to G1 and G2 and Sanchez heavy favorite to start G3 with Newk still a possibility. Newk, Julio or Touki in G4.

Seems reasonable to me.
Lord our rotation scares me in a best of 5.

Folty is obvious 1. Who do we trust as a 2? Julio, Gausman, or Annibal? 2 of those 3 get the 2 and 3 spot. Other gets long relief with Touki right? I personally kinda like Annibal then Gausman.

I look at it this way. The Braves were supposed to be at best a .500 ball club this season.
So for me winning the division is a HUGE accomplishment and should inject positive energy into this young teams career as it’s just now taking off
I just want to win the NL East. Anything other than that is just icing on the cake

Gausman is starting game 2. Anibal probably game 3. Touki, Newk or Julio game 4.

Game 1 - Folty
Game 2 - Gausman
Game 3 - Annibal
Game 4 - Newk
That’s my guess. Not what I’d do. I’d throw Newk in the pen and start Touki in Game 4

Classic home Julio.

I bet Julio will get game 4 but I would have Touki ready verrrry early.

I just don't understand how Julio can be so dominant one night and God awful the next. What a job getting out of the sixth, and I enjoyed listening to Glavine reinforce my opinion about taking a hot pitcher out of the game.

frick that was awful Ronnie

Acuna need to work all offseason on getting better reads off the bat. He takes pretty bad angles and it finally cost us a game.

Yeah he has taken horrendous routes throughout his minor league career too. First time at either level I’ve seen him not catch a routine one because of it. Has ++ defensive potential but is below average in LF as of now.
