Excited to see him get a shot and Lord knows Ender needed to get out of the lineup. The problem for this team is pitching or lack thereof though. What has happened to Folty?

My gut feeling is that his elbow is still bothering him and that's why his slider doesn't have the same bite. He needs a long DL stint.

I’ve got a good friend who is pretty sure any value we get out of Folty going forward will be as a closer.

I think most teams actually considered him more a pitching prospect than a hitter prior to the draft. The Braves were one of the few looking at him strictly as a hitter.
