We have an Ozuna-Adrianza-Riley outfield right now.

That is this season in microcosm.

Just when it seemed like they finally got shite turned around over the weekend, they go and get swept by a meh Blue Jays team for the second time in two weeks.

This team sucks.

The only reason to watch most games was Acuña. Guess I’ll watch every 5th game to see Huascar pitch now

And Jeff Mathis is catching, with Jacob Webb as the first guy out of the pen.

Good job to everyone involved who has put this roster together.

ETA: And now we're bring in Luke Jackson with the go ahead run on third in the 8th inning of a tie game, the day after he gave up a home run in the late innings of a tie game.

First off, whoa.
Second, are we pretending our gold glove caliber infield is not reason enough to tune in? Don't forget the reigning MVP at first, or the man in LF that we were all ecstatic to have re-signed.

I edited because I specifically meant this season. Acuña and Ynoa are the only ones playing great this year.

I get it dude. Losing sucks, but this team has so much potential to be good, which is why we're all frustrated. We've seen what's possible and anything less than that should be deemed unacceptable. You know that a streak is possible with this team if they just start to hit and get halfway decent pitching.

And we have Luke fricking Jackson as our setup guy.

Which is why Liberty and AA should be ashamed of themselves.

Yeah, it doesn't help that every bat in our lineup not named Ronald has regressed, but even if our offense was firing on all cylinders, we'd still have this bullpen and a weak bench.

This team was not set up to win.

Completely agree. We let solid relief pitchers walk and rolled with a makeshift starting 5.

Like Melancon definitely had his flaws, but to let him (and Greene) walk and basically ask Luke Jackson and Josh Tomlin to fill that void in the pen is a fireable offense.

Nope. Still baffling that we let our bullpen from last season walk, but Jackson and Tomlin are still on the roster.

TomBaw and his mouth full of dip are a fricking joke. He is nothing more than a mop up guy with a 10 run lead or deficit.

Which is the only reason why he was on the postseason roster last season... now we're asking him to pitch in high leverage situations.

How can that be even remotely defended?
