He is owed 33 over the next 3. It's not a crazy contract. That is one reason why I think the rumors could be true. The Orioles will be looking to add an OF, but I doubt they spend a fortune. I don't care about the return at this point if they take on the money.

We hired Chuck Hernandez as our Minors Pitching Coordinator. Seems like a pretty important position with all of the pitching we're counting on developing or having enough value to trade.

While I love JBJ he needs to prove he can be consistent at the plate. I know he was hot to finish the season last year I'm just not sold yet. I think they pushed him through the minors too quick.

Fredi said he talked to Coppy last night and was told the trade rumors on Freeman are not true. "Freeman will 'absolutely' be a Brave in 2016".

Per Rosenthal on twitter, apparently we were talking to the Dbacks about Miller. Said the talks didn't go anywhere, but that we were asking for an MLB piece. Rosenthal said maybe AJ Pollack.
Good to hear that we're looking for MLB offense. Hopefully we can make something happen.

Teams inquire about pretty much anyone at any given time during the season. Not shocking. I'd imagine we'd have to give a tad more for AJ.

Rosenthal actually said it wasn't an "unreasonable" request, but I tend to agree with you. I wonder what the price for Swanson would be?
