What has y’all so confident in DJ?

He’s 34 and has 1 major.

And he isn’t in the middle of a tear like we’ve seen him before.

What gives?

I’d imagine because he has a pretty good record at Pebble and is the #2 player in the world

He’s clearly a great pick but people are acting like he has this.

He has 1 major.

Three people have picked DJ in this thread, bro.
And he's the Vegas favorite

I know, I know.

And I knew this this response was coming.

But to say he has this is pretty ridiculous.

Is it wild to anyone else that Rory hasn’t won a major in 5 fricking years? Good lord.

That like pre-dates Tiger’s back problems I feel like

I had originally made plans to go this week almost a full year ago and the only real lodging I could find was basically a Courtyard Marriott in shite hole Salinas at like $500 a night.

Good thing for Tiger is Pebble takes driver out of his hands on several holes, so he actually has a chance of hitting fairways.

Sadly, I think a euro like Molinari wins this one.

Doing some research for fantasy picks. Most of why he's getting the attention to win is he finished 8th there last time it was played at Pebble('10). He has a few top 5 finishes there the last 5 years at the Pro Am. He putts really well on poa greens. Tied for 2nd at The Masters and PGA this year already. I picked him my pool at work, as well as Webb Simpson, Snedeker, Day, and Lucas Glover.

I think the potential Live PD appearance is factored into the cost. So not a terrible deal.

I would love that, but it just seems like he doesn't have the closer's mentality on Sunday. He's always in the running but never seems to go out and take the win.

I'm a Rickie fan and saw what I'm talking about first-hand at Erin Hills a few years ago.

Same here. Every decent hotel and condo/house within an hours drive was booked a year ago...unless you’re willing to pay $2k/night
