He has mostly been annoying to me so far. I mean if you try to predict every play right before it happens, then eventually you will get it right.

And it's been proven already that fans don't like this in the long-run.

Everyone is excited now but this is the same shite that happened years ago with Bill Walsh...and he was a hit for the first few months and then fans got tired of being told what the play was before it happened.

Fans like to be surprised, organic entertainment or guess themselves (armchair QB) - not be told everything...or over-explanations about why a play worked that carry over into the next play about shite only people who spent their life in the NFL care about.

Walsh eventually got fired...he was too smart and too in depth and told people the plays before hand. Fans were basically complaining, dude just let me watch some fricking football.

We will see now with Romo if fans have changed.

I think they see enough potential in Romo to have him dial it down a bit if warranted. I mean he's in his mid/late 30s and have been doing it for a month. He's only going to get more comfortable.

Gary Danielson is the best color commentator in CFB and he diagnoses plays and sometimes predicts them

He doesn’t predict the play every play

Not even close

He gives insight on what to look for
