Hopefully this will be a big step in the return of full stadiums across all of sports.

I’m sick of these bigots not believing in the science. Makes me so angry. Profits over safety, huh Rangers?

Well the Rangers never have to worry about reaching 100% capacity regardless, even with a roof now

It’s ONLY for opening day though. They will be at a slightly reduced capacity with “social distancing pods” in April and May.

MLB wants that, so of course they will allow it.

They'll just say they have defaulted to local officials and government mandates.

100% capacity or 100% fan base?

This is an important question.

Took a rangers game in when I when I went to see LSU vs Miami. That’s a beautiful stadium

This is good news in a way. But let's hope people who go to the game are either vaccinated, low risk for complications and live with people with low risk and wear their mask.

I don't see how you can get 40,000 people to wear their masks the entire game and eat and drink.

My guess is that there will be some a-hole who walks in wearing a mask but pulls down on his chin and claim he's wearing a mask. Even Gov Abbott has said masks help to reduce the spread. I just can't believe they will be able to practically enforce the mask wearing.

It is, but that's not where the Rangers play anymore. They built a new stadium that resembles an airplane hangar.
