Kid is very solid. Would love to see TF win the late night match.

Tourney has become a shitshow of retirements and upsets. Highest seed left will be 6 if Medvedev loses.

Hurkacz just finished off Medvedev. Medvedev looked like he was going to yack at the end. The WTA side is actually more interesting this week. I don't like back to back big events. One of them usually gets the short end of the stick.

I feel like the entire tour schedule needs a revamp but that’s a topic for another time.

I've seen Alcaraz play maybe 7 times but Kecmanovic only a couple times. I knew Alcaraz was a big time up and comer and maybe a future world #1. But damn....Kecmanovic is really good too. These guys are playing awesome tennis.
Eta Alcaraz is unbelievable for 18 years old

The little fella is really good some days. Alcaraz starting to take control after losing the first set.

I didn't realize Kec was only 22. Thought he was on tour for a while. It's hard to even gauge how well he's playing because he's getting run all over the court by this absolute animal and playing a lot of defense.

absolute animal
Good description. Alcaraz is a freak of nature for his age. He is unbelievably talented.

He's a fast and strong beast and probably isn't even near what he will be in terms of physicality. I think he will need to stay trim and not get sucked into rocking up/lifting.

If I'm a coach I don't even know what I would say to my player to beat him

Imagine if he grows another inch or two

That squash shot by Kecmanovic from way back in the Everglades. My lord.
Posted on 3/31/22 at 8:33 pm to bayoucracka
He had another great squash later in the breaker, but he was too far back to win the point.

Alcaraz is incredible.

Can a 3-setter be match of the year?
Posted on 3/31/22 at 8:47 pm to bayoucracka
Curious to see the line on the defending champ vs. this monster. His level has to drop at some point. Every match can't be a highlight reel like this.

Hurkacz +200 if anyone has huge balls and wants to fade Alcaraz
Posted on 4/1/22 at 2:02 pm to bayoucracka
Alcaraz could be gassed, I guess. Hurkacz is a weird player. He is pretty much a pusher other than on serve, which is weird since he is ripped.
I wonder if Hubi is tapping this or it was a rando.

Seems like a rando. Doesn't look like the coaches box either.
He sure is quiet about his private life.

Not the best set from Alcaraz but he takes it in a breaker.
