BREAKING: The Tampa Bay Rays have received MLB's permission to explore becoming two-city team: the Tampa Bay area and Montreal, sources tell ESPN. The plan: Play early-season home games in the Tampa Bay area and finish the season in Montreal. News at ESPN

The frick? This is so weird if true. What will their name be? The Tampa Bay-Montreal Expo Rays?

Just move the damn team to Montreal and call them the Expos.

And where would playoff games be played?

This is such a stupid idea.

This is the dumbest thing ever, although I could sort of see it one day for Buffalo/Toronto in something.

I said ten years ago they should do that with Miami

Florida Marlins- 41 games in Miami & 40 games in Tampa. TV contract across the state without competition
