Seeding has been thrown out the window. That’s why you crown an “NFC Champion” and an “AFC Champion”. Technically those are two separate brackets that play the winner of the other

I just looked it up and the “designated home team” is what switches year to year but the home team gets to decide if they wear home colors or white
