It seems like now that Kerr is actually having to coach instead of having supreme talent that doesn’t need coaching, he struggles. Obviously, any coach/team that doesn’t have their best players will not be as good. But on the flip side, wouldn’t someone who is supposed to be one of the best coaches in the NBA be able to do better than coaching a team to the worst record in the NBA?

I’m a casual fan, so many of you know more about the NBA than me, so what are your thoughts?

Good question. Also, what would Phil do with this team?

Is Larry Brown the GOAT at coaching em up?

He’s average, if curry doesn’t get hurt they still aren’t a playoff team. So that tells you a little bit about Curry also.

Sure, and I agree, but shouldn’t a really good coach be able to coach them to something better than the worst record in the league? I’m not even saying into playoff contention.

People around the league have the utmost respect for him. Kinda reminds me of Spoelstra w how the casual fans all thought he was junk and winning with talent when the perception w the other coaches GMs etc in the league was 180* opposite.

In general fans have almost no clue what goes into coaching. You really gotta take the words people in the industry bc anyone in the outside doesn’t have anywhere near enough info to make a good decision.

Yes. His offensive ideas changed the NBA. Lineup of death win them 2 championships.

I think Kerr is a very good coach, but this team would be where they are no matter who was leading it.

Their active roster is pretty much made up of g-league quality players. No coach could work with that.
