Awful lot of stuff to talk about on @FirstTake today, and you know I can’t wait. But I promise: one of the subjects WON’T be “Why is Today called ‘Black Friday.’? That has always irked me, but I won’t bring it up! See y’all at top of hour on ESPN.

Years ago, i had that argument with a Black guy i worked with. At first i thought he was trolling, then i could see how serious he was, and then it became laughable, and couldn't believe i had to keep explaining what an accounting book in the "Red" and in the "Black" meant.

Of course, he read something on facebook, and it was the "Truth".

Here's to hoping Stephen A is part of the impeding layoff movement at the Flagship.

The man is literally too stupid to realize that “being in the black”, from a business perspective is a good thing.

How do none of you know that Black Friday started in the 18th Century?

Slave traders needed to clear out old inventory so they would sell slaves for 50% and include a tool of the buyers choice.

Smith is an actor playing a part. I realized this years ago when I watched first take.
