Be interesting to see today if other games in the region (including LSU's) gets moved up to avoid Hurricane remnants.

College Gameday should move to Oxford or Fayetteville (or Lawrence, KS for that crowd…)

who could follow suit? Not sure where everyone is playing but only other team that would make sense would be Georgia...Florida can't play Thurs and would have a better chance to play sat when the hurricane is gone

SC moved a meaningless OOC game to Thurs. No way any SEC conference games get moved up. Location change would be the only move (and I’m not predicting any change).

We should go ahead and move Tennessee game to a Saturday Night game time to avoid that storm over the Caper Verde Islands rt now.

Why?

The latest guidance has it going more to the east

Auburn might not even get any rain

Florida games would probably move back to Sunday if any changes at all.

No need to move the LSU/Auburn game. Storm will be a depression by Sat morning 200 miles east of Auburn (if the course stays). West side of the storm will likely have nothing by that time.

They play a Top 15 opponent in a primetime ABC game. We play an HBCU from right down the road in Orangeburg. Big difference.

All the high schools in my area have moved to Thursday, probably a good idea if the forecast holds true

This. Given the level of opponent and it’s proximity to Columbia (about 40 miles), it’s simple enough to just make sure everyone and everything gets to Columbia a couple of days early.

an HBCU coached by a former Gamecock. Making some considerations from us is more likely from him than others.

The Dawgs are playing at Missouri on Saturday so it's a non-issue.
