So the Houston Astros are headed to another ALCS. How angry should you be?

3. Disgust. You're a baseball fan and you don't like what the Astros did and feel their 2017 title is forever tainted and you certainly didn't want them to advance. You don't really like the expanded playoffs. You don't feel good about it, but you'll keep watching. Plus, it will be fun to have a team to root against in the ALCS.

4. Anger. Everything about the Astros already makes you sick. You didn't think the punishment was severe enough. They soiled the game. The Astros advancing makes you sweaty, you don't want to talk to anyone, and you vow to drink White Claw and watch "Seinfeld" reruns until spring training starts. You definitely aren't going to watch the ALCS.

the astros beating the dodgers again is the only proper way to end an irrelevant baseball season

Along with the Yankees in the ALCS. Only a matter of time.

Meh. I kinda like the A's and were pulling for them same as I would over any other AL team.

The Astros moving on to the ALCS just shows that MLB and Rob Manfred completely screwed the pooch with punishing the Astros.

But everyone already knew that.

About as mad as we were when the Cardinals made the postseason after they hacked computers.

I'm no Astros fan by any means, but this anger towards them as if they are the first team to ever cheat has always been hilarious to me.

If my Rays can't make it, I hope the Astros win it all (again) & tell everyone to go frick themselves. Continuing to call out baseball hypocrisy is fantastic.

Lack of pitching depth will eventually catch up with them, great season despite finishing under .500. the offense has always been therr

Not a big MLB fan and don’t have a dog in this fight but I think it’s funny the hate they get. Winning it all again under a microscope would be pretty hilarious.

How are those 2 things even related? Punishment should have been no postseason play 3 years after the cheating? Manfred doesn't want to set a player suspension precedent for cheating when the Sox and Yankees are the next 2 suspects.

You must not have followed very closely. The last 25 games or so, the offense was arse.

You typed all of that... when you could have saved yourself some time and energy by just saying:

Punishing them harshly would force him to punish Red Sox harshly as well

That aint happening

No doubt MLB plays favorites. Look at the lack of punishment the Cardinals got a few years back or the Red Sox recently.

The Red Sox were even warned previously.

Like I said, I'm not even mad. I wished the A's won, but I would have been pulling for the A's regardless of who they were playing in the AL playoffs.

It serves Manfred right to have the Astros still playing.

People that think the Yankees haven't cheated at this point are just head in the sand

Because the offense didn't perform doesn't mean it wasn't there.... You still have Altuve, Springer, Correa, Brantley, Gurriel, Reddick, Fisher, etc who have proven to be fantastic players.

I think you mean Tucker. Fisher was jettisoned to Toronto last year.
