So almost 3 weeks after signging and you FINALLY meet with your new head coach?
Anyone see this relationship being more than "yes sir, Mr. LeBron"?

Spinoff: How many more games does Ty Lue coach for the Cavs now that Mr. James is gone?

I expect Lebron to have this young team playing better basketball than they've ever played

I'd see it as more of a bad sign if they had to meet earlier, like a precondition to signing.
Walton played with Shaq and Kobe and under Phil Jackson. He coached Steph with GS. I'm pretty sure he understands the give and take with superstars.

Walton will be lucky to be the coach by the all star break. They’ll play like shite, blame it on Walton, get him fired, then miraculously turn it around with LeBrons hand picked replacement and everyone will act like the coach is some miracle worker.

Why does he have to meet him? I'm sure they've met before. And I don't think any conversation they could've had would've affected Lebron's decision to go to the Lakers.

I think Walton's biggest problem is that he wasn't Magic or Jeannie's choice. He was brought in by Kupchack and Jim Buss.
And Lebron isn't picking any coaches. Magic runs that organization and there's no question about it.

Lebron "You and your daddy have combined for 4 NBA championships"
Luke "You and your daddy have combined for 5, that's more impressive"
Lebron "Who's my daddy"
Luke " KD Duh"
