they're all passing around a clip now saying "this guy doesn't interview well??"

Which a clip of him saying something nice isn't really evidence of doing well in an interview setting and selling your vision for the franchise but ignoring that....why in the frick can't they be honest and address his past is pretty concerning? Can't get as many likes RTs doing that, gotta get those internet brownie points

I'm a little torn on this one. The woke media will go insane if Bieniemy doesn't get a job. Maybe it has to do with the fact he is still coaching or he comes off poorly in interviews. On the other hand, it looks like the Lions hired a complete imbecile and it is borderline inconceivable that Bieniemy is not a better candidate.

This sounds like a situation where we make up a source and story and create a bunch of outrage over something that won’t happen. He’ll be a HC.

We do this all the time here.

See the thread on the OT today about Spotify taking away songs they haven't taken away.

This is true and pretty damning

is it true? Who is falling over Bill O'Brien?
He was the first coach fired this season, and now works as a college coordinator

its just funny they won't even approach it from a "he deserves a second chance" or "he's changed" angle. They're choosing to ignore it completely when its out there and easily found

This is exactly where I am on this issue as well.

the Lions are drafting a QB, that's why they gave him a 6 year deal. Stafford will likely opt out, based on his wife's comments a few months back.

Well it’s the Lions....

Still they’re not exactly far removed from having a black HC, actually they were even more progressive and did a black retread. So not sure we can blame racism on this one.

The nice racists won't admit it, but there is something going on with EB besides crap from 30 years ago or race. There are multiple owners who have passed on him, that had previously hired a black HC. So now you're supposed to believe they are racist? And it's not like they are hiring retreads.

Plus when too many people go out of the way to push a product/person, that should be a sign. Always double-check.

I hear criticisms of Bieniemy, but I also know special pleading when I hear it. This league falls all over itself for Adam Gase and Bill O'Brien. Decision makers are only extra-picky about a top coordinator when it confirms their biases.

Bill O'Brien's only NFL Head Coaching job, GM that hired him was black.

Adan Gase first NFL Head Coaching job, GM that hired him was black.
