So it took until the ACCCG for Dabo to finally bench Ukelele?

He would be in the CFP if he had done this 2-3 games into the season.

We know...The same questions are being ask right now. Cade made a comment that he had not had a lot of practice time with he starters. That's a WTF comment if there ever was one.

Why didn’t he have the same hook for DJ that he had for Kelly Bryant 5 years ago?

Another great question that has been asked for months. It makes no sense

Because Dabo is prejudiced. It’s the only explanation.

Did he not want to be considered a racist by benching another black QB for a white true freshman?

Because I could see that being whispered, especially if Klubnik had some growing pains after the benching.

DJ has the frame and arm strength to become a great QB, so maybe Dabo kept holding the rope that he’d come good. Bryant’s ceiling was pretty low.

That said, I thought after I saw one series of Klubnick that he was the better player.

OU fans had the same frustrations with Venables

Apparently that’s the Dabo philosophy. He doesn’t take transfers, doesn’t want recruits visiting other schools and is very loyal to his guys

He has to adopt to the climate. Everyone could see DJ wasn’t it

He played Klubnik in the first game against GT and Klubnik looked good but when Dabo gave him time in a few later games he looked overmatched, especially against Syracuse.

So I guess Dabo figured that Cade wasn't ready so he'd just try to grind it out as best as possible with DJ.

While he did nothing special v Syracuse, he did nothing bad either. Instead, the offense scored on 3 of the 4 possessions he took under center to come back and win the game. Not sure how that’s looking overmatched.

Regardless, Cade K said last night this week was the first week he had any snaps with the ones since the second week of fall camp. So, the kid was never really given a shot to get ready to play meaningful snaps this season.

he is the reason they beat Syracuse. It was 21-10 when he came in. He should have been named the starter after that game. Dabo is an idiot

I only watched Clemson twice, the Syracuse and South Carolina, games and I knew that dude sucked after watching about 2 drives.

Probably something stupid like DJ goes to New Spring while Cade watches film on Sundays.

I was completely joking and anyone that thinks race had anything, or should have had anything, to do with the decision is an idiot and should be ignored on all things

Just food for thought:

What input could Dr. Pepper had on Dabos decision?
It sounds conspiracy like, but Dr.P invested a lot into DJ, they'd like to see him play and succeed.
