I mean he's saying he needs to be fired IF he knew...and I think most people would agree.

Just clarifying that Wetzel isn't demanding he be fired today.

I'll be honest here - I think Meyer is gone and I think this is the end of his career in coaching. He'll be untouchable due to 'metoo' but he'll take a year off and probably end up on TV.

He's not wrong

This isn't some good guy, who got caught helping out a friend.

This is a shite head who finally got caught. He was the Gotti of CFB coaches. Nothing stuck, he always got away squeaky clean. Not this time

Come on now. Your going to tell me his wife did not tell him what was going on? If he throws her under the bus, not only his job is gone...his wife will be gone as well. Urbs is pretty fricked.

Probably but this ain't tattoos and extra benefits for athletes. This is domestic violence, mainstream news networks will cover this. Urban better have some good answers besides "my wife didn't tell me".

I don't think Title IX applies in this case for Urban. His wife maybe, but not him.

Sportsbook has nothing. They don't have odds to win big 10, odds to win national titles or odds to make playoff up right now.

OSU would roll to 10 wins without Urban this year. Schiano is a hell of a coach and the OC knows the offense.

If he gets fired and the O/U drops below 10, I'm tossing serious money at it. shite like this can galvanize a team for a season.

If he gets fired players will be allowed to leave and play immediately right? They may lose some.

That's not at all what I'm saying. But your subject reads like Wetzel is saying he should be fired right now, no questions asked. So I'm here just clarifying for the people who don't click your link.

It's going to be hard for Urban to defend this.

Aren't they both employees of the university? Even if the athletic department is a separate, private entity from the school, I'd think there would be a clause somewhere that the same constraints apply, such as Title IX.

The stuff I read about title IX said sexual assault and sexual harassment. Does domestic abuse fall under that?

i mean, we can assume that his wife told him, but wouldn't that be circumstantial in nature?
