So, we've got one team that moved away from the city for an extended period of time, one team that spent it's its entire previous existence in another huge city, and one team that has always been there, and had great runs of success.

This attendance disparity is not surprising.

People in LA turn out for events

CFB games are events.

NFL is just some crappy League that people are turned off to.

I mean you aren't going to see Matthew McConaughey and VY and Snoop Dogg or Ronnie Lott at the sidelines of a Rams game.

You'll catch ED at a Rams game though

Two teams that moved away. The Chargers started out in Los Angeles before moving to San Diego.

All of this. This insecurity by some of these extreme CFB fanboys is humorous however.

If USC suddenly moved their home stadium to a random east coast city, would their fans still fill the stadium?

No, not at first

That's 175,000 people in Los Angeles that turned out to watch football.

That's still a lot of people.

There is zero way that there are 56k people at the Rams game. Stands look 80% empty!

Man, there are like 15 million people in the Los Angeles area.

I think Nashville had less than 1 million when the Oilers moved there in the late 90s.

There's also a lot of better things to do in Los Angeles besides watch a crappy football team.

It looked like much more people than that when I watched on tv. Wasn't full but definitely more than in that pic
