Should LSU admit the mistake and hire someone now?

Obviously they won't stick with O after this season, and they will lose another 12 million.... So should they cut ties now and go after a chip Kelly and do it right this time? It should they place Aranda as interim? Alleva shoulda spent the Big $ the first time around on Jimbo or herman. Came around to bite him in the butt. Lsu woulda been a top 10 team with the correct hire the first time. Now they will suck

honestly i think that the admin is going to be so galvanized against the fanbase that they're going to just refuse to do anything

Yeah the problem is this administration has to point the blame on themselves if they blame O. So it's a real house of frickery up here, and honestly I don't know how easy it is to get rid of a guy like F King.
What kind of money are we losing out on by missing out on Bowl games? Not to mention the player development missed out by not getting Bowl practices

They should but they won't. Program will be bleeding money and will nosedive in recruiting if they let the cancer that is 0 fester.

F King would require a political solution and that ain't happening in any realistic scenario
F King will go to bat for Alleva, especially after his meddling in 2015 when he neutered Alleva
Alleva drew his line in the sand last year when he refused to do a search and hired O out of butthurt
also F King stepped in, in 2015 due to financial optics. Alleva's PR stance on hiring O involved financial optics (he was pissed about the rising cost of CFB head coaches and the associated arms race). they have a unified message

You can't make a decision of this magnitude out of emotion. Make a decision based on logic.
The logical decision is to let the season play out. LSU isn't making the playoff nor the SECCG, so what happens from here on out record-wise is irrelevant. When LSU inevitably loses all of their conference games, you visit the situation and make your decision based on who's available and interested (2nd part is important as we've learned this past off-season).
LSU is in this mess because of an inept athletic director who was impatient and had no contingency in place. Orgeron is an example of a decision made out of emotion and not logic.
DO NOT MAKE THAT SAME MISTAKE TWICE IN AS MANY SEASONS.
