Get on it, Cleveland.

Serena Williams, noted football expert and tennis pro, says she is sure that if an NFL team were to sign former quarterback Colin Kaepernick, he would lead them to a Super Bowl victory.
quote:
Williams made her proclamation in an interview with Time magazine wherein she comes to the support of players protesting during the playing of the national anthem.
quote:
Williams said she is sure Kaepernick would win the Super Bowl because he has “so much to prove.” Williams added that in the same situation she would, too. “I can’t imagine he would be any different. ‘Man, I’m about to show out. Y’all gonna see stuff you’ve never seen before.'”
Get on it, Cleveland.

She’d be a good person to know now that betting on football got easier.

And Serena could be his O lineman

glad we got QB expert Serena to weigh in.

If he signed with one of the favorites then yes he might win a Super Bowl sitting on the bench. As it happens, none of those teams want or need him to do that

I clicked the link because I was positive this had to be an onion article or something.

Makes no sense why he wouldn't have already been giving his A game this entire time at the pinnacle of his sport And if he hasn't then there's a problem of well why were you not already giving maximum effort? So he either he's either lacking talent or effort and both are huge No No's in pro sports.

Somebody tell Serena to go buy a team and then sign him...problem solved and it'll kill 2 birds with 1 stone

If he had been playing for the past several seasons he may have. The guy was clearly good enough.

Let's entertain this for a second. Tom Brady who may he the best QB of all time and is definitely in the top 2 has won 5 superbowls in 17 years (I think). So now we are going to say that a QB that is objectively no where near as talented as Brady can go 1-1. Sounds pretty improbable.

At this point I want him to sign with a team, start a game, and proceed to throw 4 ints just to see the reaction.

He couldn't win the Super Bowl when defenses hadn't quite figured out how to defend him yet, so how would he win it now?
