Since 1998 when College Football started playing any variation of a championship game, the SEC has won the majority of them.
From 1998-2013, five different SEC teams won nine of 16 BCS games. The Big10 had one.
Since they started the CFB Playoff, three different SEC teams have won six of 10 championship games. The Big10 had two.
