He’s a drunk, but he calls a hell of an offense

Yes they have great players, but they’re consistently in acres of space

He's good at college but is freakin terrible at calling plays in the NFL. His stint with the Falcons shows that.

Saban gives him a breathalyzer before each practice.

Imagine replacing him with Bill O'Brian. how bland is that?

Nobody knows how good Mac Jones is, because he's always standing in a clean pocket throwing to wide open receivers. I dont know how often he has to go through progressions, but it doesn't seem to be very often.

Bamas oline is absolutely dominant.

And yes the play calling is basically perfect.

He’s not a drunk anymore, allegedly.

The OP could call plays with this BAMA roster and score 50. Because whomever come up with the game plan for Ohio St. should be fired on the spot.

He was not the problem in Atlanta. Ryan had the second best season of his career with Sark calling the shots.

It really helps when your players are all a lot better than everyone else’s

Meh. People were saying the same thing about Sark both times Saban hired him.

But, like it’s been said, it’s easy to look like a savant when you have that o-line, Smith, Waddle, Harris, etc., etc.

That is because they were having to come back every game and Ryan was throwing every play in the 2nd half. We have already talked about this.

When you are down big in most games and have to throw all the time, QB's tend to put up great numbers.

On the surface it seems like a pretty big step down and uninspiring. I hope it turns out that way, but with Saban, you shouldn't expect it.

Get back to me in a year when he’s mediocre at Horn town. Easy to be great with the best players.

This is certainly true, but he deserves a lot of credit. They consistently find mismatches and exploit them

That was a while back, Saban did him a solid by hiring him and saving his career.

He could have been the next Zach Smith.

He will get 3 years to beat Oklahoma (and they are loaded at QB) or Texas will put a boot in his arse.
