They are going to use her as the example that females can "compete" in men's sports...even the most physical of sports, football. In reality, she didn't really "compete" at all. She had an objectively terrible kickoff designed to keep her from "competing" (i.e. making a play on a potential return). She then kicked the ball 20 yards on a PAT with zero rush. They didn't let her kick off or attempt a FG in the game. She was a COMPLETE publicity stunt for an awful team. No different than when Bill Veeck sent out a midget to bat in an MLB game.

Anyone with brain and sense of self-pride would realize they were being used as a virtue-signaling stunt. Not some accomplishment based upon merit. I'm sure there are probably thousands of female soccer players who could kick a football 20 yards with 2 weeks of practice. But, virtue-signaling is now an "accomplishment" and something to strive for in today's society.

I'm with Joe. Lets end gender distinctions in sports. No more Title IX with respect to college sports. No more women's sports on campus. Just basketball...and baseball....track....soccer, etc. Women compete against men. Same rules. We'll quickly see biology plays a role in sports when you have the finalist in the SEC mens 100 meter dash ALL obliterating the 30 year old women's WORLD record in the same event.

Women's sport ARE NOT a bad thing. But if you want to constantly beat the drum that you are just as good as men in those sports well....let's play!
