That's dumb

But at least people are paying Rodgers to be in commercials. Not many people want to be associated with sanchise

2009 Draft was full of fail-

QBs- what's there combined record?
Matthew Stafford (1)
Mark Sanchez (5)
Josh Freeman (17)
Pat White (44)
Steve McGee(101)
Keith Null (196)
Curtis Painter (201)

Jason Smith, Tyson Jackson, Aaron Curry were the 2nd, 3rd, & 4th overall picks.

It's just like cowherd said the other day when talking about flacco's upcoming contract... You're not worth what you do on the field, you're worth what you can negotiate. Everyone knows that Rodgers/Brady/Brees/Manning are the best qbs, but Flacco will be paid more than most if not all of them. He just got hot at the right time and has all of the leverage.

Same thing happens to free agent QBs and high draft picks... Look at Kolb, Matt Flynn, Vick, etc.... You're worth what you're agent can get you and what the market dictates at the time of your deal.

NFL and NHL are the two most violent sports and their contracts should be handled differently. 1 year contracts should be the norm with 2 year contracts being the league max.

Do they pay N.Y. income tax if they don't live there? The stadium is in New Jersey. It seems New Jersey would have first dibs on taxing Jets and Giants players.

You get taxed in whatever state you play in.

It also depends on where is Residence is

Knowing Sanchize he probably claims Cali and NYC 2 of the higher tax rates
