He's never sat out a match, and he won't this time around. Just so everyone is aware, he's playing better than some of the other players on this team and improving. It seems like no one realizes that whatsoever

He's not sitting out.....he'll play the fourball and alternate shot formats with a solid, steady partner like Stricker and do fine

Rickie played consistent golf this year and didnt get the points others had because he was not on tour last year. He was 7-1 in Walker Cup and lead the US to two victories there. Played well in the Open this year, and plays well in the wind. He's good friends with DJ and Bubba, also Phil wanted him on the team as well as several other veterans
