Man what a great segment. It was honestly one of the only segments on race I have listened to in the last few years where I thought we actually have hope going forward.

The podcast should be up shortly for those who want to listen

So Kannell's seat isn't even cold yet and they're turning the Russillo show into more race relations talk. Awesome.

For christ sake You are the type of white person that is completely petrified of any talk of race arent you? They brought up the Red Sox/Jones thing, and they had a great honest conversation. It was good shite

You serious? Danny and Ryen always talked about social issues. Don't try to make something out of nothing

For those of you who cant get enough of the race relations talk, there are other channels that specialize in it- Not just ESPN (who occasionally lets those pesky sports get in the way of their social programming.)

Ryan Clark seems to be a pretty smart dude. If ESPN wants to talk about race they are much better off giving him air time than people like Bomani Jones, Mike Smith or that lesbian jemele hill

Talked about when he got a white lady pregnant at 18, her dad was saying he wouldn't be a good father, then he proved him wrong and the guy apologized a few years later.

I just think people who want sports talk are upset that the programming has flipped to so much politics and social issues. It's just made it to where shows are no longer fun and enjoyable.

ESPN has stated that this is their direction forward but as Linda Cohn mentioned, they are forgetting their old loyal client base who wanted 24 7 sports. It's their company so it is up to them to decide their best and most profitable path forward but I just don't enjoy watching hot takes and social viewpoints all day.

This particular issue needed to be covered but in general it's most of what they do now. Their live sports aren't even that good. MNF football isn't great, NBA is much better on TNT, and covering the sports like SC has gone off the tracks.

I'm like a lot of people thinking I'm OK to get rid of it because I'll watch the games in CFB season at a bar. I don't really turn it on for anything else.

Have always liked Ryan Clark a lot, but Bomani has 2 masters degrees (political science and econ) and was pursing a phd in Econ before getting into espn. He's a really smart dude and should not be lumped in with "da 6" hosts.
