NIL by itself = fine
NIL + current Transfer Portal rules = death of college sports

meh, i'm the opposite
I've always thought that players should be able to transfer at least once w/o having to sit out a year. i mean, there's so much turnover in CFB, including position coaches. not to mention, it's hard for a lot of young kids to adjust to a school that's thousands of miles away
NIL makes CFB a minor league for the NFL, and just eliminates any sense of amateurism

frick it. I hope this model collapses on itself so college sports get the reset they so badly need.

they’ve got to get control of this, they won’t, but they need to.

They can’t get a control on it. The courts have spoken. It’s literally impossible.
College administrators and the ncaa allowed this to happen. Instead of throwing players a few bucks 30 years ago, they clung to this student athlete bullshite and this is where it led them. University presidents, ADs, and ncaa chucklefricks are to blame.

Lincoln riley is literally the dirtiest coach in all of college football. This is the shite he does and did at OU. Shouldn't be a shock hes doing it at USC

The NCAA needs to go back to the old transfer rules. Trying to fix NIL can be done, but it will/would be difficult and time-consuming with the legal considerations that need to be taken into account.
But with a snap of a finger, the NCAA can go back to the old transfer rule and at least try to semi-salvage this sport before it’s irrecoverable.

They need to bring back the one year sit rule now that they have NIL
Two exceptions. 1. You can leave if your head coach bounces or gets fired. I may even be open to if their coordinator goes. 2.You can leave if your school goes on probation and is banned from the post season.
