Seems like the fans are wanting the franchise to give Derrick Henry a large offer.

Nothing official, just fans and talk radio but it caught me off guard cause I don't see it happening.

Would Derrick Henry leave the South for a few million more? He's already in line for a huge contract.

I'd imagine a lot of teams are going to make Derrick Henry a nice offer.

He is going to get in Elliot's neighborhood in a new deal.

I know I would

The average low in Pittsburgh in January is 20 degrees. In Nashville it's 29 degrees. We're not talking Miami to Buffalo here

Titans should let him walk. They'll be just fine with Dion Lewis as long as Tannehill stays. Just ask lsupride87

Steelers aren't known for dishing out large money to free agents. They use it for role players and depth.

I mean he’s not David Duke. A few million dollars is a huge difference, especially for a runningback.

No way he leaves Tennessee. Titans have built their offense around him and will pay him what it takes. Henry seems like an extremely loyal guy as well.

The Titans have a lot of cap space to keep Henry.

Half of that is going to go to Tannehills franchise tag

Replied to the wrong poster, talking about the cap numbers linked above

NFL players pass on more money all the time. Leveon Bell cost himself millions by not playing in 2018.

Any NFL RB would “leave the south for a few million more.”

Henry is a unique runner. He has carried teams his whole career and is still the all time high school rusher. He ran for over 4200 yards his senior year of high school and at every level seems to get better the longer he plays. I do not know if his body can handle a ten year career but I would bet the next three or four will be special.

It was very satisfying watching that blow up in Bell's face. Bell being a huge disappointment once he was no longer in that Pittsburgh offense was one of the easiest calls of the season.

What does Le’Veon Bell not playing have to do with Derrick Henry... playing?

Over paying for RBs with a ton of miles on their treads is such a great fricking idea

He's a very good RB, but how much longer is that prime 1 or 2 years?

I mean he’s only 26.

But yeah that’s like 65 percent of his prime, pretty terrible that he hasn’t had a chance to get paid yet given the realities of that position
