FWIW, Marcellus Wiley said today that he has sources that told him Carmelo will be traded to the Rockets within 2 weeks.
I don't know who his sources are or if I believe it, but that's what he said.

I don't think any rockets fan is putting CC ahead of the GSW we are the smartest collective group of any fan base on MSB and have a lot of respect for the game and recognise that GSW is all time great.
CC is one of the best two teams next year. While GSW is one of the best two teams probably ever.

They fired the coach who took them to the playoffs bc his squad blew a lead against one of the greatest teams ever. when golden state gets hot therea not a whole lot any coach can do. Pels judged their coach by how he did v a red hot warriors team. It would be like Mississippi state firing their football coach bc Bama came back and beat them in the second half when they had a otherwise pretty good season.

I think the Monty Williams firing was a long time coming. They were already planning to fire him even though they did manage to sneak into the 8th playoff spot right at the end of the season.
They were supposed to be better than sneaking in as an 8th seed.
But instead of getting better with a new coach, they got worse.

One of your dumber takes. That's not even close as to why he was fired (although leaving a red hot Ryno on the bench in the fourth quarter was a fireable offense).

Monty and Dell clashed and they both had different visions. Dell obviously won. It wasn't based off of winning a single playoff game.
