Football Legacy
quote:

His effervescence and irreverence made him not only a fan favorite,[241] but also an icon and a folk hero. Gronkowski is considered one of the most unique personalities in sports, and has played with "an inimitable combination of acrobatic athleticism and reckless abandon" all the while maintaining his boyish enthusiasm and humor

Clearly written by his PR team just found it amusing how he sees himself. I also don't think he has ever used many of those words. Guy is the GOAT though.

That is a quote from a NY Times article.

One of the best, most dominant football players of his generation.

And now having gotten that out of the way, I really fricking hate this douche and don't understand why ESPN decided to go all-in blowing him every time he took a picture every offseason.

you never hear anything bad about him. No dog fighting, beating women, baby mommas, DWI's,bitching about $,etc. Kinda unusual for the NFL

You think his brothers even comprehend those words?

Gronk couldn't spell effervescent correctly if you gave him a dozen tries

Why do you think he's dumb? I think he's a pretty smart guy.

It was written by Bill Pennington in this article

Don't think he's dumb either. Has lived off endorsements money and saved all of his NFL contract money.

Why?
He’s just a good guy and a great football player

He’s just having a good time out there

My dad has a friend in Boston that’s a big time financial advisor and has dealt with many of the patriot players over the years.

Guy said Gronkowski is actually pretty sharp and absolutely plays the dumb jock up to the public. Had nothing but good things to say about him

he likes to party and joke around and has never said anything politically incorrect to piss off the alphabet people, never been in trouble with the law, keeps it in his pants as far as i know*, and it's obvious his teammates love him.

i don't have an overwhelming love for the guy, but he's harmless.

*i'm sure he's banged everything that moved, but obviously no babies that we know about.

Everything of what you said is why I love the guy
I don’t know how you could hate him.
I do envy his success. Wish my team had him

Occasionally he may be a little much but otherwise he is far from a douche or a-hole. Certainly could be a lot worse.

I have no issues with Gronk.
