I think committee will put more weight on osu’s wins over their losses. Osu will get in is my prediction. Won’t matter since buckeyes are getting thrown into a group of hungry lions in Clemson.

Bama is better than Ohio State. In the end they will get chosen because of that.

If what Kirby Hocutt said about teams 5-8 being close is true, then I think they'll send Ohio State

Agreed, no way they let Wisconsin hang around tonight. But it’s committees interpretation: best vs most deserving.

OSU has 2 losses and one is a very very ugly blowout loss to unranked Iowa.

Bama "this year", isn't that good. They are living off of the past. Lsu and msu are not good wins.

I’m going by the rankings going into today. Obviously they will not be #25 after losing to Boise.

Ohio State deserves a playoff spot over Bama, and it's not even close. Who the frick would even defend Bama at this point. They have done NOTHING to earna playofff spot. Ohio State has earned it. Bama lost to Auburn, they're fricking done.

Why do people say Bama clearly better than tOSU?

Bama lost to the only top 15 team they played all season.

Bama's best win is an LSU team that beat 2 teams with a winning record all season.

tOSU beat 3 teams ranked higher than Bama's best win.

Both lost to top 10 teams.

Yes tOSU lost to Iowa and badly, but both have 11 wins.

The truth is that this is 2011 all over again. Bama vs Okie State. Significantly better wins for Okie State, but better loss for Bama.

Sad thing is that we completely ignore that Bama didn't even win their own division much less their conference. Furthermore the team that beat them out for the division, didn't win the conference championship.

Because Ohio State lost to an Unranked team 55-24

Alabama destroys most everybody they play

The committee will be completely exposed if they take Ohio State this year. It's not ideal but Bama is clearly the 4th playoff team.

Yeah Ohio State's biggest issue will ultimately be the fact that everyone knows that Bama is a better team. If you're gonna take a 2 loss team over a 1 loss team you're going to do it when you think the 2 loss team is actually a better team. Bama is probably the second best team in the country.
