SEC vs the rest would get people to watch and the players to play?

It just needs to go away, I'd be all behind that idea.

What is the point of this game? I don't think I have ever watch more that a few minutes of the pro bowl, and I haven't watched it in many years.

I think the ratings may have improved once they moved it to before the Super Bowl. They really need to figure out how to get them to play defense.
I've never watched it either though.

I had more of an interest in watching it when it was after the Superbowl
It just sucks going from the best weekends in football (playoffs) to some shitty exhibition, back to the biggest game of the year
Atleast after the superbowl you wanted to see just because you know football is going away for months

So while the league is trying to limit injury they are also trying to further incentivize the game for players, risking injury in a meaningless game???
All the games are "meaningless" in the great scheme of things, however, the meaning of the "meaningful" games comes from the financial reward players receive for doing well and winning those games from the owners. While the other part of the "meaning" comes from the fact those games have meaning due to fans caring about the outcome of those contests.
While fans, and therefore owners will maybe never give "meaning" to who wins the pro-bowl (a cultural, not logical choice), the money the NFL gives out could give it enough meaning to the players to play well if it is substantial enough. What that number is I don't know, and would it ever lead to a cultural shift into the "meaning" of the pro bowl? I doubt it. The equivalent would be SEC teams not only yelling SEC! after every championship these past years, but then BUYING the winning team's gear to support being conference mates. And that shite ain't happening soon.

Skills and a Rookie/Sophomore game would be better
With captains picking teams
Those guys will play hard. Not 10yr Vets

Better enjoy the Po Bowl. With the Goodell-ization of the NFL, pretty soon every game will look like the Pro Bowl on defense.

Pick two locations for the Super Bowl, one AFC, the other NFC. Then play the Pro Bowl with the winning conference recieving the game.

Would be logistically impossible
