Guess this won't be until 2021 since Kirk is so sure there won't be football this fall.

Would be pretty damn good, they're awesome together for college.

But damn I would miss them in college football.

They are a good team for sure, but I happen to think Sean McDonough and Todd Blackledge is a better announcing team. Either way, ESPN might be in a good spot to spread their talent around.

They deserve the money and recognition. Fowler is the best in the business and is ESPN's MVP.

This isn't a new story though, just the NYP regurgitating a report from two months ago.

No don’t take them away from college football. It won’t be the same without them.

If this did happen, would Kirk still do GameDay? I don't know if Corso would function without Kirk by his side.

The SDS story was based on another story - from the NY Post. The Post mentioned about a hundred options before mentioning the Fowler/Herbie option.

ESPN should just pay Nessler to come back to call MNF. CBS won't have the SEC much longer, unless Nessler would be content calling second tier NFL games for CBS.

I don't know if I would call them better, but they would be a good replacement team.

Granted, I don't think I'd miss Fowler saying "downfield shot" 10 times a game.

75% of the year his 2nd tier CBS game will be a better matchup than the MNF game

Why not just promote Kevin Harlan and Kurt Warner from the radio call?

Harlan is one of the best out there

Harlan does TV for Turner. Probably couldn't do on-air television for ESPN.

Harlan calls NFL on CBS. He does the MNF radio calls for Westwood One.
