Announced back in September, but I think it went under the radar and bares a mention now since the kick off time for the college title game as often been the subject of complaints.

45 minutes earlier, 7:30 est

quote:

ESPN source confirmed that to AA’s Ben Koo, saying the hope here is to improve TV ratings.

It’ll probably still kick off closer to 7 so the west coast crowd can catch most of the 1st qtr

Thank god - all they need to do now is move it to Saturday and we are all set.

The broadcast will take 5 hours anyway, so working folks will still get to bed at nearly midnight.

Ratings would be worse than on a Monday.

What are we thinking about the ratings for this one? I just feel like it’s going to be pretty bad viewership. Seems like their is zero energy around this game

Yeah it seems like Damar/NFL really took the focus from the game.

Maybe I'm out of touch, but I can't remember less hype around a title game. Maybe the COVID year game, but that's about it.

I'm completely apathetic towards both teams. Neither stir any love or hate either way for me.
