Would take him, in a heartbeat, over who LSU now has as a coach.

Is he available?

We’d take him at LSU tomorrow.

True freshman under center. You wouldn't take him over O? LSU is barely scraping by with a QB on social security.

Y’all fools can hate him all you want, I’d take him in a heartbeat over the clown LSU has now. 1 game will not change the situation LSU is in

I'd take him over Captain Caveman in a second. In a heartbeat. In a New York minute.

I'd take him yesterday over the Captain of the Cavemen

He's a top ten coach, and that's not debatable

Even good coaches have bad years.

So he gets credit for recruiting and developing Jameis Winston but he gets a pass for not having any other options on his roster now? Kirby seems to be doing just fine with his backup.

Fisher is a good coach but LSU fans have raised him to demigod status for doing little more than Miles did while playing in an easier conference. Post Clemson rise he hasn't done jack shite but underachieve relative to his preseason ranking. He's a better coach than Orgeron but thinking O is bad and Jimbo is overrated isn't mutually exclusive.

His QB rotation got a little screwed up when that QB hit the girl in the bar and transferred to EMCC.

The one he recruited?

Again, the roster is the head coach's responsibility. You can't give him credit for the only QB he's had that's turned in less than 3 losses a year without acknowledging he's responsible for the current QB situation.

He's got a National Championship, and Clemson and Alabama are scores better than every team in the country. Under your logic, every coach is and because they haven't done anything the last couple of years. Some LSU fans may kverhypd him, but others (like ones in this thread) do the same thing for the other side.

He's one of the best coaches in the country. He puts a team on the field year in and year out that has a chance to make the playoff. I'm not sure what else you could ask. I have said all of this, also, without mentioning that his team this year has had a whirlwind schedule because of the Hurricane.

If Jimbo came here and was 1-3, he would have everyone from the top down calling for his firing, and that’s a fact.

You're proving my point. LSU just fired a guy with a Natty who put a competitive team on the field that just wasn't Bama or Clemson good. Either that's good enough for LSU or it isn't, this double standard and the mental gymnastics LSU fans do to prop up Jimbo is baffling.

And would be about where FSU is at if he started his freshman
