I'm not defending Gruden but it's frustrating how hypocritical the NFL/sports media is. AB can send sexist emails/tweets, Desean Jackson can post anti-Semitic quotes on Instagram, Deshaun Watson has 22 sexual assault suits against him, yet they suffer no consequences.

AB's tweet to the woman he allegedly sexually assaulted

What's your definition of "no consequences"?

What are you talking about , he was cut and he was suspended for all the other stuff

Plus, coaches are held to a higher standard. Also, he wasn’t suspended, fined, or fired

When you make 10 MM a year and are the face and leader of a team, you are held to a higher standard. And you should. This isn't hard.

Well maybe you are a racist then . Shits not cool , it’s no different than white people calling black people the n word . I’m pretty sure it’s meant the same way

So you’re held to today’s standards on comments from 7-10 years ago? What has he done while being an employee? Has he failed to meet that standard while working for the raiders?

A 50 year old man that has made millions off of a child's game thought it would be a great idea to capture his thoughts that he knew were wrong in an email. I didn't say he can't go sell insurance somewhere. He doesn't deserve the privilege of holding 1 of 32 jobs in the world that pays him 10 MM a year to coach a child's game.

Dude, you just don't get it. He said a black dude's lips were big. And he is white. That is unforgivable

They did suffer consequences.

And Jon Gruden is a Super Bowl winning coach. In two years if he wants a job somewhere, he’ll have one. Might not be head coach, but he’ll have the typical “I’ve learned from my mistakes Jacob Blake on Facemask” sob story and people will forget about it as long as he’s helping a team win.

If Gruden has any sense, he takes his millions and goes live his best life.

If he were a vindictive man, he'd take those millions, and start sending FOIA requests and frick over everyone in the NFL with the same email bomb shite.

I think the question should be asked, does Jon Gruden work in or around the NFL ever again after this scandal? If not...AB got off with a slap on the wrist for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman by comparison.
