Especially those who have been to Wrigley. I’m working right now in southern Wisconsin and my son is coming up for the weekend next weekend. We’re going to spend Saturday and Sunday in Chicago and absolutely intend to catch a game at Wrigley. I’m looking right now at stubhub for Saturday (which is the day I prefer to be there) and I’m debating between left-field line down near the end about halfway up for $80 each and outfield bleachers for $100 each. I really think I’d be happy either way but something tells me outfield is where we should go. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Also, if anybody knows of a better way to get tickets that would also be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a bunch in advance.

I’m a lifelong Cubs fan. I would always watch the games on WGN with my grandpappy. Been to Wrigley like 3 times, you can always find good deals from scalpers in wrigleyville.

Thanks dude.

I thought about that as well. I guess I’m just the type that likes to have ticket in hand when heading there.

I will ask though... Are you talking about a much better price than those I listed?

Yep. Like that too. Already a plan, which should probably be even moreso if in the bleachers.

Another question. So are the bleachers GA? Says $100 and same number available when I hover the mouse over each different section out there.

And last question, I think. It seems like bleachers tickets won’t get you into the rest of the park. Is that correct?

If you’ve never been then bleachers are a must. Just get there early.

Yes, and the line usually forms outside way in advance of first pitch. But you can still find some great seats up by the scoreboard, if you're late.

South Side is still the best side though.

They need to replace that dump. People are too hung up on nostalgia.

They should replace Fenway as well?

Wrigley is one of the greatest places on earth

You can get to the other part of the park. You go downstairs and go past the male restroom and keep walking. But if you lose your ticket, you will not get back in.

If the weather is going to be nice, I would stubhub a bleacher as it will most likely be cheaper than the scalpers that day. If the weather is not good, scalp.

Bleachers are awesome. Get there early.
I was just at Wrigley last week. We sat in Section 131 (lower) for Game 1, and then 431 (upper) for Game 2.

The new netting is not really noticable at all. The upper level seats were great, pretty much on top of the field. Enjoy have a great time!

Yeah I’m thinking my feeling was right about the bleachers. You folks have pretty much confirmed it. Thanks to all.

I’d rather sit third base side. Wouldn’t test my luck w scalpers, been burned there before and don’t think there’s as many around now that Mlb has gone digital w tickets, etc.

I’ll echo what the others have said about the bleachers. If you’ve never done it, that should be your choice.

I’d also recommend taking the L to the park. There’s little parking near Wrigley and I don’t recommend the bus lots. Park downtown, ride the Red Line to Addison. Then take it back downtown after the game and have dinner.
