Ive seen more rednecks from Denham and Central rocking Bama gear over the last three years than I ever saw in Lafayette

Meh, I watched the game at a sports bar in Lafayette last night. There was one table (a 4 top) pulling for Bama, and a couple other people who I spoke to. Those other people said they were pulling for Bama because they were in the SEC though, not because they were butthurt UL fans.
I think the UL/Bama fan is pretty overblown. I don't personally know any of those types of people.
That reminds me, the whole "pull for the SEC" thing is stupid. It made a bit of sense back in the days of the BCS because you wanted your conference to be viewed as the best in order for the winner of your conference to be selected to the championship game, with the CFP that isn't needed nearly as much. frick other SEC teams is basically what I'm saying

Several people I work with said they were pulling for Bama because 'muh SEC... That seems so stupid to me. Like Saints fans pulling for the Falcons in the Super Bowl
