With the Raiders new stadium in Las Vegas, I can't help but think that New Orleans will fall into obscurity when it comes to the big game. Vegas offers pretty much all of the things New Orleans does; fantastic food, lots of hotels, and excessive debauchery. Not to mention the Superdome will never be considered a modern facility. What say you?

The superdome is pretty nice I don't know what you are saying dude... Obviously the new raiders stadium will be a lot better but let's not act like the dome is a dump.

To fill the gap between years where it's the reward for a city building a new stadium, I could definitely see this.

Vegas will definitely be the premier Super Bowl/neutral site/college championship destination once that stadium is finished

It’s dumb it has taken this long

Hasn't NOLA already fallen into obscurity?

Is this the type of predictions that people say to get attention then everybody forgets about it next week?

Haven't been to Vegas, but I know one of the big draws of New Orleans for stuff like Superbowls and all star games is because of the proximity of everything. You don't really have to drive to go to any of the events or nightlife nearby. Is vegas and their stadium going to have that aspect to it as well?

Vegas will be great.

NOLA will still be great.

The two aren’t exclusive.

Yeah provided the dome gets its scheduled renovation it’ll still get super bowls.

I’d imagine LA is going to take San Diego’s place in the rotation. Also I don’t think there will be THAT many more new stadiums going up in the near future. Hell miami getting it’s first in 10 years in 2020 after massive renovations. I expect the same time frame will occur for NOLA.

Vegas,LA,Miami,NOLA, Jerryworld, Atlanta, maybe Bay Area will likely get at least one per decade I’d imagine going forward.

which will be ironic given the NFL's stance on legalizing sports betting

Where will it be located in relation to amenities? Or the strip? Will it be walking distance to theee things?

Then it'll be another great location. But as others have said, they can both be great locations. It's not like these are hosted at the same location every year.
